Hi Pat,
Any chance of using these glazes on some larger pots?
Cheers, Symon.

Hi Symon.....thanks for the nudge!!

There is a problem which lies in the relationship between glaze (types), and clay bodies. As the pot gets bigger I like to use more robust clays and these clays usually (in my mind), don't necessarily 'work' with refined glazes...hence, my larger pots are usually paired with ash glazes.
The next firing will have some marginally larger pots that I will glaze with the celadon, the green and one or two others. If they work I intend to show them here.

Thanks again,
Pat

Hi Pat,
Larger in the red would be great! Larger in all the colours would be great too

Hi Pat,
I wait eagerly to see the larger pots. I live on the North Coast of NSW. I think the natives here suit lively coloured, refined pots to match the lushness of their native habitat.
Cheers,
Symon
