Got a surprise today..A PK Pot.

Post by bodhidharma »

It was one of those surprise days when i received a parcel pickup card. Not expecting anything i went to the post office to pick up a box inside another box. Getting home and opened the first box and the note said..Hi Bodhi, All the best..Cheers Sno. Opening the second box (which had so much packing it took a while) I discovered a beautiful little PK pot. Sno had taken pity on me from my blubbering on Watto's thread about not having one and Watto stating "if you don't have a PK pot you need a good smack". Unfortunately i do not have access to PK pots So Sno has saved me a smacking. A big thumbs up Sno  and it is pretty cool that, only knowing Sno from this site, there is a great sharing from Bonsai. Hope we can share that beer one day. I have put a little English elm into the pot to show the pot off. It is from one of our digs and i am now working on the top development. Played with a bit of light also.

Now that is what you call a beautiful pot! The tree looks so perfect in it too. Amazing work to all Pat, Sno and Bodhi.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

I always knew Sno was a good bloke, but his status has moved to exceptional. A very kind gesture and you have done well to find an old Elm that suits it very well.

I'm glad you liked the surprise Bohdi . Great looking elm . Images of Watto with his cheeky grin trying to spank someone now keeps flashing through my mind , definitely not a pretty picture . :o

Hi Dibley....

You've got an excellent potter in your neck-of-the-woods....she's on this site as MadPotter. Drop her a PM . I'd give you more details but I'm not sure how visible Marie wants to be. ;)

Sno...you're a legend!!!

Cheers,
pk
