Starts 4th May 2019 and runs for 8 weeks at Gymea TAFE, NSW.

This course runs on a Saturday, 10.00- 1.00pm for 8 weeks; Janet will teach you everything you need to know about making pots for all sorts of plants.
During 8 weeks on Saturdays, you will create unique containers for your plants.
Learn the design fundamentals of bonsai (‘Tree in a Pot’) and incorporate these functions into a design of your own.
Hand built and fired, the features include form, size, shape, surface decoration and texture that all relate to the intended plants that will be placed in it.

Plants not included.
Beginners welcome.
$430 Price includes clay, glazes and firing.
Price includes one bag of clay, glazes and firing.

The tutor, Janet Selby makes bonsai pots in a studio in Kirrawee, Sydney. She teaches and demonstrates how to make bonsai pots, and sells through regular Bonsai club exhibitions throughout Australia.
