I have two acacia howitii, I have styled them very differently to each other. This one I decided to keep the wild twisted charachter of the multiple crossing trunks.

For me, the trunks move so strongly in the one direction that the crossing is just part of the texture. If you lose trunks because of "correctness", you lose the character of the tree. Just my 2c. It's very dynamic.
