Well i have completed my first year attempting to grow trees from seed and tube stock in the ground, some lived some did not. Below are pictures of them, some good shots some not so good. But i am learning.I have nothing in pots as yet, my Corky Bark is the closest i have and maby next year it may be placed in a training pot.
One day i will get there...

Good one Irish, I wish I was so organised as to have a few beds just for bonsai, mine are spread thru out the garden amongst the rest of the plants. Its ok until i decide to do some work on one, then I usually end up having to move a couple of others or can't go as far as I would like. I am also glad you posted what they are with each pic, I was looking at the twisted she oak thinking "why is he posting a clump of grass" I would love to know more about it, what you started with, did to it etc etc...

Edit: didnt see your last post till i posted a reply... Instead of pinching the tips out all the time you could just let them go & give a good hard prune from time to time, you will get quicker thickening of the trunks and saving time for other things.

Lovely Setup there Irish snd you will quite a few real nice trees to work with very soon.
The corky bark is particularly nice, and the knotted sheoak is so cool
