Picea pics

Post by legoman_iac »

Hey all,

I've assembled some pics of my Picea. These aren't the greatest bonsai pics but thought you might enjoy the journey I've taken with my first bonsai.

This first album (sorry for the broken thumbnails) is a collection of pics over the years from purchasing it in 2010 through to last year. I've kept the date in the caption/files name: http://sketchdigital.com.au/photos/bonsai/

... And here is a day with my new 100mm macro: http://sketchdigital.com.au/photos/bonsai_study/

Hope you enjoy.

Some lovely photo's there.

Has the tree deteriorated in health?
Some of the latter macro pics don't portray the vigour of the earlier photo's?

Some great photography there too.
Tack sharp! What camera and settings are all the first series taken with?
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Hey,

Thanks for the kind words. Tooth sadly yes, not add plush as he used to be. I've been told a caterpillar has been on the attack which is why a lot of buds have failed to leaf, and appear hollowed out. I do have two branches with lush green growth. Will have to update the album.

Think all but three pics were on my canon 50d, a mix of 17-85mm, 100mm macro. Few were on my mobile phone of the time. I can go back to the original images and check if there's some in particular you're after.
