Some more ideas using natural branches as a foundation or and idea for alternative ways of building them.
Loading these was a bit of a problem ...ignore the last 2 attachments. I hope it gives an idea about how we might go about thinking outside the box. This structure would probably never be thought of normally ( in most cases the lower part or the higher part would be cut off without thinking about it) but I think you would agree that it works. It's all about imagination and extrapolating an idea into the future. This could be looked at as one branch or a whole tree in the cascade style.

:bump: Somehow I missed this last post by Mike. It's insightful and helpful.

I mentioned earlier that I want to explore these techniques as I am 'new' to pines, I don't have much to 'unlearn' but I have plenty to learn. Stuff like this really helps. Thank You.
