Hi Guys,

How are you all doing? First of all i am not sure if i have the right section (If i post it in the wrong place then please advice or move it to the right one. Thanks).

Recently we just finish on some of our products. We're still fairly new with Bonsai so feel free to give comments. Spare no mercy.

If anyone out there who have tips for taking great photos then please let me know. My friends said i take ugly photos which doesn't do their arts any justice.

Thanks for your reply but i did put the access level to "everyone" can view it even though they're not a member. Let me double check that. Just that the photos are too big and i have to re-size it if i am to post the pictures directly onto the forum.

You're right. For some reason even though i set the access level on "everyone" can view it.. it still required for you to be a member to view it...

Definitely some issues there. The washed out look, is concerning. What are you doing differently in those shots to the other clear ones?

My suggestion would be, for them to pay a professional and have them shoot it to the standards they want.
With friends like that, who needs enemies.

Looks like the ones that are "washed out" have some light spilling onto the camera lens

Hey Mate had a closer look after getting home from work. Like Ken said great landscapes!

It appears all shots are affected by the washing out to some degree or another.

What type of camera? Point 'n' shoot or DSLR? Light is entering the sensor from somewhere causing the wash out. Looks like you are shooting at night/afternoon and are using flash. You are generally better off shooting in the daylight using sunshine or lighting with other lights than flash. When you flash something, often something out of frame will glean stray beams back at the cameras len.

Thank you for your comments. Mitchell you hit the nail on the head. I took the pics at late afternoon with flash on. I'll give it another go during the day sometimes. I don't have a proper camera so i am using the Nokia N8 to take pictures. Maybe it time for me to invest in a proper camera?

A proper camera would certainly help the situation, though the nokia should still take reasonable shots without that washed out look.
Shooting outside in daylight will probably help.
