New Baeckea Tree

Post by wiggs »

Had this one a while in a grow pot and finally found a pot I liked whilst also the time to repot.

Sorry about the poor backdrop but I think he came out quite good, can still ramify a little more but a decent start.

I love the tree.
But I dislike the pot. I like a good white pot, but it looks too gawdy for that lovely tree.

I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.

Beaut tree wiggs, I've found they really respond well to regular clipping, especially if they're well fed and watered, and get good sunlight.

Yes since reporting and watering regularly it’s really come on so I’ll do a trim shortly.

On the pot Rory, given the tree it was I just wanted an earthy basic colour and I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, most at the shop close to me were too exotic or really Asian style pots or the wrong shape. If I see something nicer I like I will get it.
P.s it’s the picture filter that makes it white, it’s actually dark cream in reality.
