Hi everyone
This tree is growing over the road in my neighbours front yard.
I really like the bark on this tree (it is very corky).
So I thought I would share a couple of pics as the bottle brush in my area don't have bark as impresive as this
This spring I will ask if it is ok to take a couple of small cuttings and see what they say?
Base of the trunk is around 40 to 50cm.

At least I think it is a Callistemon?...could someone either confirm or correct me with the id for this species.
