Who designed this?
I found a picture of this Bottlebrush googling. I freakin' love it. But can't find any details about who designed it or if it's exhibited. Anyone know?

That would make sense as I was looking for seeds. Now I'll have to go back and see if I can figure out which one is yours Pup!Pup wrote:Two Chinese men, it was second in the JAL photo comp

Take it as a compliment that he rates the image so highly, the seller is so ignorant of our art he has no idea of who you are...Pup wrote:Two Chinese men, it was second in the JAL photo comp

Re: Who designed this?
This tree was designed by Mr Chih-Hao Hsu and Mr Chih-yao Peng. From Taiwan.
It was awarded the runner up prize in 2000 JAL. OOPS wrong I have just had another look and read the article, and I got it wrong
The one I am refering to is a different tree, but from the same place TAIWAN.
It was not Ernie Kou though.
It is now in the round pot, it is on the front cover of BONSAI the Bonsai Clubs International Magazine. There is an article detailing there work over 8 years.
September/October issue 2001.
A plug for WA there is also an article on a swamp paperbark, winning best in show at the AABC convention. The first one awarded in Australia on behalf of then president, Solita D.Tafur Rosade.
Cheers Pup

One site uses the pic for both Kunzea and Bottlebrush seeds
