Bottlebrush Workshop with Grant Bowie

I had the opportunity to attend an Australian native plants as bonsai workshop with Grant Bowie yesterday and I had a great time. Grant is such a knowledgeable fellow who is happy to share. I took along a Bottlebrush that I dug in 2012 and I was looking for some inspiration.
Of course this project is a long way from completion but it was great to get it heading in the right direction.
The long term plan is to have a rugged partly windswept look and of course I am looking for a suitable pot now.

Now that's a work shop that would of been worth buying at...

Will be watching in what direction this tree takes.
