Looking good Rory ,love the movement on this one. Well done on all the others you posted as well. By the way how many Casuarinas do you have ? I think I have the same problem with Kunzeas
Cheers John.

I appreciate the comments guys.
This species is a pain in the bum at repotting time. The bark is so fragile.

Thanks John. Many years back I had a Casuarina adoption agency and the population was in excess of about 300.
So I gave away most of them to central coast club members, friends and others to hopefully spread more interest in Casuarina as bonsai.
The rest I sold at the Ausbonsai market day.
Now I've only kept handfuls of each species worth spending my time on.
I used to grow Kunzea (fantastic material for bonsai), but gave them away as I needed to downsize. Of course, this was working until I stumbled across Melalueca thymifolia, Micromyrtus and Thryptomene.

photo fail.
Sorry about the poor visibility on this one. Much easier to see the branching in real life.

This casy has had a drastic change of course. I like the new look, and will persevere with it. I will allow a new crown to develop as the years go on.
Repotted in September, and growing like mad.
I realize its not quite yet 01.01.2023, but its easier to post that its 2023, so looking back people can easily distinguish that its a year apart. Its only 1 day before the actual date.

I've purchased a Bonsai pot by Tomek Staszewski (Tomfish - business name) in Poland
His bonsai pots are works of art. They are very beautiful and this one reminds me of 'Stranger Things', so its quite fitting that this bonsai goes into the Stranger Things pot.
The tree itself is continually ageing and being hacked by me. I enjoy creating this creepy creation.
