Niwaki Casuarina/Alocasuarina

Post by beanwagon »

Has anyone tried to or seen examples of alocasuarina/casuruarina trained as niwaki?

I've been wanting to attempt it as i feel they would lend themselves to this style well. They grow like weeds here so finding large material would be relatively easy.

I believe Dr Seuss has made wonderful examples of them.

I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.
