First styling/wiring and repot today, took some heavy wiring here and there to get wobble in the bloody gnarly old thing haha, cost me packet in wire hmm , unfortunately the pics don t show all movement, anyway a start for now and a make do pot ...cheers

Thanks John, yes enjoy working with the material, but i took a good part of the roots off to get it in pot that will interesting.

Thanks Mel, I m wondering what your thoughts are, I find they do love water and these guys i m playing with have excellent rootage before I attempt to start but?...are they a bit touchy with there roots, you are scaring me now lol...Anthony

I might have been a little less careful with them than I should have been. They're not very common up here in the sub-tropics, not that I've seen, anyway! Seeing what Hugh, Matt and David do with them in NSW, and all the Vic Native members in Victoria, I'm guessing they might just be a little problematic for this climate....That's my story, anyway.

That's a nice looking tree Anthony, it looks like something you'd see in the bush, which I assume is what you were trying for! How shallow a pot do you think it could handle?

Agree with the general concensus above - it looks like a great job, nice vision and I really like all of it ... except maybe the branch I have marked in your image below ... ... just not sure it is in harmony with the rest of your styling in terms of the line and I feel like with the movement heading left it could maybe be reduced in length?? Things always look a bit different in 3D so maybe I am being finicky about nothing! (just my initial feeling when I looked at it)

Thanks Matt, yes trying to do that, good qestion on pot depth not sure about that, I would like to go a little more shallower Matt, if it survives this repot as i ripped off a third to get it into this pot, ...cheers

Good pick up Ryan, the photo does accentuate it, but I did flatten it out a little bit and brought the branch above down slightly to shadow it as I need more focal from the busy main trunk action...cheers
