Saved Syzygiums

Hi all,
Managed to save a couple of Syzygium australe (var. 'Tiny Trev,' I think ) from a garden about to be demolished. I only have a handful of starters apart from these few slightly larger new trees.
One of the starters
I'm not too familiar with training this genus, I'm using a mix of about 30% diatomite, 60% potting mix and ~10% zeolite with some native osmocote in the mix. Does this sound ok?
Thanks
