Psyllid free Lilly Pilly

I bought this Lilly Pilly as a bonsai in training about 7 years ago. I was hesitant at first because in my area I've never known a Lilly Pilly not to be badly affected by psyllids, even the resistant varieties. I bought it anyway because of its impressive trunk and I was prepared to have it constantly dosed with confidor. I have no idea what variety it is, just that it has the usual white flowers and purple fruit.

I must have chosen wisely because in the time I've had it, it's never had a single leaf blemished by psyllids. :fc:, even while those in surrounding gardens are covered in it. I get a lot of enjoyment from this tree, from the summer flowers to the purple fruit in Autumn.

Cool Matt!
I dig LP, and think they are a great specimen for bonsai.
Yours is no exception. Nice!

Looks great. I have seen some fairly aged Lilly pilly at work. On spec at the moment 75% off so I am thinking of having a crack with air layering one i have my eye on. Your post has made up my mind. Ill go in and buy it today.
Maybe look as nice as yours some day [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
