Unfortunately, and Bugger there is no price. So I have had to take too bribery of his wife :roll: . Yesterday when Mrs Pup and her friend and I ( knew I would get seconded ) were splitting Palms and Cycus.
I was looking for the best PUPS ( of shoots ) on the parent plants to offer his wife. Some of the palms we have are worth a bit so you never know :roll: ;)

Unfortunately this tree I coveted so much is no longer. Him and his wife went to Canberra to visit their son and daughter in law. He did not trust me :palm: but his brother and father, now we have a dead tree between us and memories :cry: :cry:

Very sad. A great tree indeed. I'm always aware when I'm repotting that our treasures are alive, and what we do can lead to losing them.

Thanks for donating some of your trees to the NBPCA by the way, they are much appreciated.

Bugger, I saw the title and thought you'd been up to quobba station balloon fishing for big Macks off the cliffs :lol: That's a real shame about the tree though pup. Never trust family :palm:
