What a beautiful plant Kunzea pulchella is!

Here is one of my little 3 year old cuttings. They are slow and not too vigorous but I'll try to keep them going....
I have also put in some seeds of the same plant. Maybe they will grow better than cuttings???

The wild plant...Granite Kunzea. They don't seem to need much in the way of soil!
There are silver and green leaf forms but the red against the silver is very showy. It has that WA feel about it.

I would be interested to hear from others trying this species.

Looks lovely. Style wise... and from that last photo ....I reckon you could pull off a clump style similar to that of the wonderful chojubai clumps - but a native instead. Would be cool, I think.

This is a nice looking species that I'd like to get my hands on - I'm patiently waiting for the SA native plant society sale next month :fc:

Sorry about the late reply. Yes the seedlings are up and away. They are not showing the silver in the leaves yet, but otherwise doing well.
