Australian Natives Clearance

Post by bibimbap »

So I purchased a clearance lot from an online seller. Not sure if I have a good selection or not. Will be using this to track progress. All that they're going to be doing is to grow. Apologies for the background.

Hi Bibimbap nice selection of trees, should be a lot of fun  .If they were mine I would give the trunks a light wire once they settle in and show good growth . Nothing worse than going to put some movement in latter and finding them near impossible to bend. Cheers John.

Can't make out all the species names but I can see Melaleucas and Eucalypts.
There's a wide range of Mels. Some are really great and almost bomb proof but I've had poor results with some others.
Eucs are frustrating but worth trying.

I agree with wiring early while stems are still flexible. After a year or so you'll be limited to chop and grow to get bends.
