I picked this up at Bunnies of a sale rack. It's about 70cm tall at a guess
It will be my first go at trying to do something from a young tree. I have owned a ficus for a week that was a gift this should give you an idea of where I'm at.
If it can't bonsai I no biggie.
I'm in seqld can I cut it back now or do I wait till it warms up?
Lob the top 2/3 rds off the main and leave the branch as trunk builder or prune it back as well?
I like the leaves and would like to build a tapered trunk, maybe an informal upright.
Thanks
Nick

Re: Dwarf NSW Christmas Bush
Ceratopetalum is one I have not tried as bonsai so I have no idea how it responds to pruning or repotting.
