Trunk chop

Post by Ben Thomas »

Hi.
I have this Banksia that splitImages into 3, it's a bit bulged where the split is. Is this a trunk chop job? If so, when is best time for it?Image
Thanks in advance
Ben

Hi Ben,

Best wait till it kicks of again in Spring before chopping. Pick the best leader of the three and remove the other two. The bulge should reduce over time.
