This is a species trial I'm starting from nursery stock. It is a locally native, very abundant coastal plant in my area, south west Western Australia. It grows as a shrub or small tree, and the variety I am using has naturally very small leaves. Also flowers in the cooler months and has a smaller flower than most banksia. Great potential here I think.
No wire etc has been applied yet just repotted from nursery soil and light trim to get started.

The old parrot bush! We had 1000s of them where I grew up. Hopefully 1 won’t have that smell a whole bushland of them does
