Away???
Haven’t been away for awhile ;) …. From memory don’t ask relatives, that never works out well
On a serious note. Sprinklers on a timer or friends, neighbours
Cheers

Automatic watering system.
Test for a few weeks before you leave to iron out any problems and find any spots that don't get enough water from the sprays/drippers.

Many people have had bad experiences with friends, family and neighbors even if they are keen gardeners. Only bonsai growers know that every day means every day rather than when they remember or feel like it.

Systems vary enormously in quality and reliability. Any system can still fail but most auto watering is still way more reliable than most humans.
There are systems that have internet capability so you can check that it is still functioning and even change the program from anywhere on the phone.
Do some research and see what might work well given your circumstances.

Yes plenty of Internet-connected sprinkler controllers these days. You can manually trigger a zone/program from your phone, or set up programs to respond to live weather data to trigger longer/extra watering on hot days, delay watering if rain is forecast, etc. I still prefer to manually water but will use automatic watering if I'm away, or for extra watering during hot days when I'm at work.

I use the OpenSprinkler controller (https://opensprinkler.com/) which I like, but there are heaps of options out there.
