Making envelopes for fine seed
I thought I would share an ingenious little trick I was shown for making envelopes to store fine seed so that none is lost. While my purpose was for orchid seed it could easily be used for any other fine seed, or modified by using a larger piece of paper for a larger envelope.
Fold to look like the pic then remove the top section & cut the rest into 4 squares.
Fold into a triangle then fold into thirds along the long side.
Lock the tail of one into the fold of the other.
Pull the 2 points apart to reveal the secure pocket.
Fold the square part in half from the top, keeping the seed in the bottom of the pack. Now fold the triangular tails over & tuck them into the gap between the first set of folds.
No matter what is done to the completed pack it cannot come open or lose any seed You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks MattA,
I've been wondering how those types of packs were folded for ages!
Now I can try some..

Thanks Matt, that bit of origami will certainly be useful for packing small seed.
