Out of control Morton by fig pruning advice
Hello I have been given a Morton bay fig to baby sit and it looks to me out of control I have attached a photo of where I think I should prune it but as I have never done this I would like some one to take a quick look and see if im on the right track Thanks

You are brave to consider cutting a bonsai that you are baby sitting.
Firstly its not a Morton Fig, its a Schefflera. Where you are proposing to cut is fine. It will not be detrimental to the design.

Thanks for the info , I was given the pruning task along with the baby sitting as the new owner knows less than me if that's possible

Pruning where you marked won't be a problem as long as your aware the tree will probably not do much growing now we are coming into winter and it is a subtropical tree.

Agree with everyone else, it's not going to do it any favours to prune it now unless you can keep it in a warm, protected, sunny, frost free area. I'd try to keep it somewhere like that even without pruning it!
