Akadama got wet in storage ??

Post by CameronB »

My akadama got wet in storage, not completely saturated but more moist in the bottom corner of the bag? It still has its shape and hasn’t turned to mush or anything
I have separated out the completely dry stuff and now have the remaining part drying out in a cupboard where our water heater is (it drys out socks on a rainy day as a guide)
My question is will I be able to save it or should I just use it to pot something up now with it or is it best to get rid of it ?
Thanks

Generally akadama will get wet when you water your plants… ;)
I wouldn’t be concerned at all. All sounds totally fine.
