Short and sweet, has anyone had any experience with this eucalyptus variety? I have a neighbour that allowed me to take some cutting that I will attempt to propagate. Fingers crossed..
The smooth shiny copper like bark on this tree is spectacular in person, also wondering if the tree is self pollinating?
Cheers

Re: Eucalyptus campaspe - Silver Gimlet
I haven't seen this species of euc before, but they generally don't grow from cuttings easily. I've heard of it happening given the right mix of heat and humidity but you'd be best off trying to find tubestock somewhere.

Thanks for the advice. I also learnt that only certain fruit trees can self pollinate. I have allot to learn

Eucs grow more easily from seed, if you can find it on the tree, than cuttings, but tube stock is much the easiest way to go.
Good luck,
