Diseased gum leaves

I found this little Eucalyptus growing in my lawn (Next door to a big Sydney Red Gum, assuming that's the parent tree), it was about 6 inches tall when I found it - its since grown tremendously however it seems to have these nasty red spots on the leaves, mostly new growth it seems, any ideas what it is or how/if it can be fixed?
