Thank you Neil & Ray,

I don't want to detract from this thread and Rays work any more, so I'll update my thread with further info.
Cheers

Hi I have a large tiger bark fig that needs attention, I would like to address it's nebari as well as its canopy. I'm planning on using Rays technique on ground layering but not sure what to do first. The ground layer first...& then the canopy?... Or would it be best to address the canopy first (how much of the canopy can I safely take off/could I cut back to no leaves, cutting right back to bare branches?) and then focus on the ground layer ....Hope this is not too confusing but would appreciate your thoughts.Kind Regards
