Summer - time to repot ficus

Any time through summer is good to prune and repot ficus.
This one has been in the pot for a couple of years and the trunk has thickened significantly since it went into this pot. Time to check the roots. There's not many roots to cut. Most of the mass under the the soil is solid wood - part of the trunk.
I cut the few roots back a little, added some fresh soil and put the tree back into the pot for another few years but I doubt it will fit back into this one at the next repot.
Branches also chopped back to encourage more ramification and allow for new shoots without the size and shape getting out of hand.
