These are also know as Pink Cascade , they are 2nd year tube stock plants .Informal Upright

Hi Mel' , many of our flowering native are quite spetacular when in flower . Once finished they will be trimmed into a basic shape for the future design .

Root pruned in Summer too, Alpine?

Hi Mel' , root pruned in summer after flowering , but these will miss this season and be slip potted {minor teasing} or {sliced }depending on last season root growth , then potted into bigger pots to help with some girth . Being a cascade a minor trim just to aid the future styles .
