Exactly what species is this tree?
It is a Melaleuca rhaphiophylla (swamp paperbark)

Looks the goods mate, hope your weekend went off well with the young fella over there.

You could be right Graeme, as I know it is not Melaleuca ericifolia the official paperbark, so I might be wrong with this one too.

Just got the young fella on his way, dropped him off early, he was hoping for a window seat he was stiff he has an isle seat. He will be in the air now and looking forward to getting home.
Cheers  Pup

I am pleased with the way it is progressing, and the pot is really a work of art in setting of our Natives.
Wow Pup :worship: that's all we can say!

A really nice carving job Pup. The overall composition is very aussie. More refinement on the canopy will bring it into its own class

This tree now resides on the east coast, I was asked if it was still for sale last week. The guy that wanted it when it was available here. Thought he might make an offer.
He was upset when I laughed at his offer of $650-00.

Cheers Pup

Hi Pearcy I think John has given Bonsai away, so the chances are pretty slim unless the person who bought it sees this post.
