Melaleuca lazarus

Post by Matt S »

Sometime in late summer this Melaleuca fell off the bench unnoticed for a few days during a hot spell, and I honestly thought I'd lost it. It was given to me by terryb and was powering along, but after not being watered for those 2 days all the leaves went brown other than a couple of very small patches dotted around the tree.

I kept the water up to it just in case and to my surprise this week I noticed heaps of shoots all over. Crikey, these Mels are tough!

Looks like it was growing well, until that little incident. Glad it is still going for you.
