Thanks. Going to soak it in seasol tomorrow arvo and pot it up. Then the waiting game begins.

Now, the top of it I’ve sawed off. Can that be replanted at all?

all the large ones that I have dug, shot out really well then the next year got an infection of bugs and grubs inser the bark ad they all died.
no idea how to stop them but have tried all sorts of treatments to no avail :-(

These are the top of the wisteria I chopped and placed into the ground. Is it stored energy or actually alive? Those flowers were tiny buds when I first got them.

Those big furry buds are flower buds. The branch is using the last of its stored energy to try to set some seeds to preserve the genes.
Wisteria are pretty tough. :fc: it may manage to make some roots but would certainly do it better if it does not waste the energy on flowers.

Just took all the flowers off. At least I know that if it survives then it’s going to be purple flowers.
