Can we edit our own posts?

Probably a very simple function, but I can't find the info

... I've noticed edits done to people's posts, is this an administrator only function? or can we edit our own posts after submitting?

Look at he to pright of your post for the edit button. It disapears after a set time not sure how long?

... it just never appeared on a post I wanted to edit in another thread

Gday Ryan!

The timeout for editing posts is one hour, I believe. After that, edits can only be made by Admin or one of the Mods.
