I just rewound the counter so I can win Paul

I think we had another problem and the webmasters took us back to the last backup. I sure one of the alchemists will chime in with a proper explanation

I saw and reported some spam from at least one new member, so I expect not all the new members were legit.
Bonsai was meant to keep me away from the computer.

Our latest member was a Spammer do they count, well I suppose they can but do they.
Also yes I think we are have issues again as it takes forever to open a page.
I give up more often and just go away.

Then try again when all in the east are asleep still not very fast though. :palm: :?

Something going on again with Ausbonsai

Post by Steven »

G'day,

We were having an unprecedented amount of traffic from spam bots which would have been why the site was slow. Some of the bots were able to crack the CAPTCHA code at registration and were spamming us with ads for cheap kitchens etc. To stop the attack Gocny had to rewind the board and prune the bots.
He also changed the user registration questions. Hopefully that will be the end of it.

Regards,
Steven

Yeah was wondering what was going on. Every now and again we get slow responses, and sometimes no response although he server responds to pings as normal.

Bloody spammers! give us all the shits!

They are ready Mr Pup,worked all night on them so all of us easterners are not asleep when you rich westerners are out and about, anything to keep you Guru`s happy.

I have got a bit more time to make some more, now that we lost a lot of phantom members.

Just trippy colours for me, it is very bright, only this site. I was thinking there was a way you view the site preference that maybe the kids had changed on me but could not find anything :?: :?:
