Re: Server upgrades
Thanks for the updates KC. I've reduced file sizes down below 500 and there's now options to place inline.
Now I need to investigate settings on the camera to see if I can reduce the res to get smaller files or find some other way to resize easily.

Re: Server upgrades
I'm having difficulty posting stories to my blog. It could also be associated with the file size issue but I don't know. The error message is:-
Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2019/7. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Re: Server upgrades
I have noticed that when I look in the "manage subscriptions" tab in my Control Panel, all of the threads I have tagged are listed twice?
Does it matter ... not really - just that my subscription list is twice as long as it needs to be!
I have also noticed I no longer receive email notification for posts on threads I have previously marked to be notified when a new response is posted. Maybe I need to re-do this since the upgrade, but just thought I would mention.
Loving the new look to the forum and the like/thanks button is a cool way to show recognition for a post without necassarily replying. I LIKE it!
Once again, excellent job team!

Re: Server upgrades
Hi Steven & Ken
I am not sure if this has been raised before, and it may be an issue on my computer and nothing to do with the server upgrade, but when I click on a hyperlink embedded within a post, the link correctly takes me to the new page BUT it uses the window occupied by Ausbonsai. I am sure that previously the link would open a new window so that Ausbonsai always remained open. Anyway, just thought i would mention it in case it is something you can fix on your side
Regards
steve

Re: Server upgrades
Is there any news on the photo size issue? Or will the maximum size now be about 500KB for ever.
Also I am now unable to access my blog, could you let me know if this is associated with the latest upgrade please?

Re: Server upgrades
Hi Watto,
I have been able to access your blog (to view) by clicking the link in your signature. Not sure if this is what you meant or you are talking about adding to it etc... I notice you haven't posted new material for a few weeks.

Re: Server upgrades
I just noticed a feature that I really like. Right next to the OPs name in quoted text (in this example "Steven wrote:" above) there is now an upward facing arrow that will take you directly to the original post. No more scrolling aimlessly through long threads

Re: Server upgrades
I don't want to be a pushy so and so but there were a number of issues/comments made during July and there hasn't been any info in response. Just wondering if we can get a bit of an up-date please?

Re: Server upgrades
If there are still ongoing issues I'd be happy to help out - my day job is a web developer (https://gregdev.com.au is me).
