Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
It did work for a while but has been cactus for me for about 2 days. Reverted to the laptop for the time being.

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
The issue is likely in the url which has changed from http:// to https:// as part of the upgrade.
I found that I needed to change saved bookmarks on a number of devices to get the new forum. I'm unsure how this needs to be done for tapatalk. Is there a way to make it forget what it thinks it knows?

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
Maybe, admins is this the issue? I tried to remove the group and re-add but same problem...

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
A search of the tapatalk support forums came up with this:
I would also assume that if a new group is created, the old one has to be removed by whoever set up the tapatalk group in the first place.
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatal ... 40196.htmlThere are instances when after creating a forum, you wanted to change its name. On initial set-up the forum title and forum URL are the same. Once a group has been created you can only change the Forum name and NOT the forum URL. If you wish to change forum/group URL, then you will need to create a new forum/group.
I would also assume that if a new group is created, the old one has to be removed by whoever set up the tapatalk group in the first place.

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
I have now deleted Tapatalk. I did try deleting and resetting to clear the cache but to no avail. So now I have deleted again and will perhaps re-install at some other time. It's probably a good thing for me and the community here...I was posting a lot due to the convenience of the phone. Perhaps I can now spend more time on my bonsai rather than on the forum

Yeah seems so - it's a bummer because it was an easy interface. Oh well, first world problem.

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
Hey,
I just thought I'd check in with people using Tapatalk.
I am unable to use Tapatalk on this forum. I have deleted and re-installed the app on my phone. I have reset user password and tried everything that I can think to make it work but alas, it's cactus.
I seem to have some read functionality, sometime but if I try to post or look at most photos - it says I do not have the required permissions, yet I am logged in.
First world problem, not a big issue but anyone else having these issues?
Cheers,
Mark

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
Nah I deleted it months ago. I just go to the website now. Mainly I just read because it’s easier not to post on a non-mobile setup website so at least you’re all getting mess of my drivel posted haha!
I’ve been a bit busy this year (I’m having a baby in 3 weeks) so I haven’t missed it as much as I thought but still tapatalk made life very easy for a person who doesn’t work from a desk nor who sits at one after work, but it’s third party software so you can’t expect everything to work with it.

Re: Tapatalk Doesn't work anymore
Hi Beano,
Thanks for your response and good luck with the new arrival; a wonderful time to be sure.
I'm not too fussed about Tapatalk - it was very easy to use on the run and I reckon you might have enjoyed for those times when you sit quietly in the dark comforting a sleeping (or not) baby.
I have deleted it a couple of times... perhaps this will be the third and final removal.
Cheers,
Mark

Yep. Seems to be back. Well done to those involved. Just testing a photo of my English Elm clump.
