Happy Anniversary AusBonsai
G'day all,
This weekend marks the first anniversary of AusBonsai which launched on 07.11.2008.
Over the last year we have grown to have 916 members, 28741 posts and 2684 topics. 25,561 unique visitors, from 75 different countries or territories have read 1,238,590 pages of our board. 88.81% of visitors have come from Australia and 46.63% of these visitors have been from Sydney - followed by Melbourne 24.2%, Brisbane 11.51%, Perth 4.69% then Canberra with 3.41% . . .
Who said that bonsai in Australia wasn't mainstream enough to be an art form?!
The recently formed ABLT (AusBonsai Leadership Team) have been busy brainstorming ways to improve AusBonsai and help grow the art of bonsai in Australia. We have some really exciting plans underway which will start to be revealed shortly. New features, improved usability, sweet prizes and a new look just for starters.
Over the last year great friendships have been made, skills have been passed on, information has been shared and our art has prospered. None of this would be possible without YOU. Thank you!
Regards,
Steven

Re: Happy Anniversary AusBonsai
Steven again it is I who wishes thank you. For without you and Jeff's tireless efforts I and the other 916 members, would not be able to enjoy the company of such a splendid group of like minded people.
We have had some very well organised competions. Also a project that is now under way that has had quite a few bumps and curves. At last it seems to be steaming along now. So if I amy again say a huge.
THANK YOU STEVEN and JEFF.
