The tree has come a long way Craig. A good example to beginners, showing how constant attention to a subject will produce a lovely tree. Looking forward to viewing it again in the future.

Looks like that graft is holding well, it really is a great little broom and will only get better...

:gday: All, i have defoliated the elm so i can remove the wiring , reapplied a few small wires, nothing too major ,The interesting part is how the Bark is cracking/splitting apart, very interesting :wave:

very nice Craig, i see the right hand side is filling in nicely, and looks like the graft has taken , touch wood :palm:
im about ready to defoliate mine after a free grow and a hard cut back at the start of spring.

Whoa that bee's huge!!!! ... or ... is the tree just a little bonsai??

I couldn't tell because it looks so real and natural!!! :clap: :worship:

...(I guess the pot and stand and guy wires were a dead giveaway but you can see why I was tricked!! Awesome looking tree now mate :hooray: :tu: )
