Yes it is one Ficus benjamina that I defoliate fearlessly, although not regularly. Generally I don't like defoliating this species as it can respond poorly, but the small dark green leafed variety can be defoliated and respond well. Ash

I am going to drill holes on my figs all over the trunk and cover them with muck and plastic.Lets hope it will work.
