Natal fig #4

Post by NathanM »

Hey guys,
So this is the 4th and final of the "original 4" natals. I have posted the other three. This one had been camping at a good friends place for ages, so I hadn't worked on it, but now I have it back.

Basically just defoliated and pruned.

After some wiring and styling. Haven't done the whole apex because still not sure on it.

Have you considered removing the top after that last wired branch in the third picture of the tree defoliated? That last wired branch could then be used as the new leader and clean up that busy top. Just a thought.

Thanks for the idea mate, but I think I would have to use the back/left top[ branch as the new leader, as the one on the right is going on the wrong direction, but lowering the height is certainly not something I am afraid of :P I just wanted to see what it gave me after the pruning before taking a set course.
