When i look at this tree i keep seeing two trees it in
the first virt is a bit like this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Foemi ... ,_2008.jpg its not the exsact tree i was thinking of but ill post here again if i find it
Then the second tree be a twin trunk not sure if this is all possible depends on the base an where you would be able to cut

Re: Olive Progressions
@Olivecrazy Yeah splitting it, is an alternative that I hadn't thought about. But if I split it, wont the trees be smaller?
@Velvetsicklid: Thanks

Re: Olive Progressions
Hey Ed, Would be interested in seeing the results from your aerials, maybe you could train it in the neagari style, like this:

Re: Olive Progressions
@Olivecrazy: Thanks Olive, I thought about it and I can see the benefits of splitting the tree but I just cant make myself do it, it woud be like splitting up the family. Besides its not often you see an olive triple trunk and splitting it would make smaller olives which you see everywhere these days. I think if I give it some time and when I extend the lines and improve on the ramification and drift some of the top to give it some drama, it will be better. Still early days yet so I may change my mind.
@VelvetSicklid: Thats a very interesting tree or virt. Its the first time Ive heard of a neagari style so its interesting for me. Ive always called it Penjing style. Well I guess I learn something new everyday. Thanks Velvet.
