Maybe, but you do not have to leave foliage as long. I did not rotate that on the branch so will not end up as low in the final result

Hi Craig,

Very nice material, I have a question, I have a very large 1 of this melaleuca in my front yard (well I think it is the same but not sure & if I could get some photo's to upload onto this site I'd post you some to look at) It has some very nice Branch's on it that I'd like to air layer, is it easy to achive that with this native's & when is the best time

The Mel has recovered very well since the Lindsay Bebb workshop viewtopic.php?f=25&t=11342&hilit=+bracteata and apart from an angle change,is heading in the direction desired. :yes:

All wire off , I'll let it rest for a period and then rewire the branches.
