Re: Bonsai Video Series-Bjorn Bjorholm
This is a really cool series. I know Lindsay Farr did his WoB series (Which I loved) and there is Bonsai South's videos. But I reckon someone here could do an Art of Bonsai Australia. Probably more a club thing than an individual so we could see a variety of trees and interviews with different people. Or do we suffer from the fear of tall poppy syndrome and are too afraid of showing what we have in case we get ridiculed? Has anyone here thought of doing something similar?
So the Redwood turns to the Bonsai and says "Lend me a Tenner"......

This may clear up the defoliation debate a little. Ryan mentioned this was the type of defoliation practice to use when he said never defoliate in one of his critique videos a while back.

Thanks Joe,
This is a series that I come back to time and time again and always learn from. The trees are fantastic as well, always an inspiration.
Thanks again for posting up reminders and keeping us informed of new episodes.
Regards
Paul

That's a great idea Joe. I created a page on the wiki for it, so we can all help update as we watch. I'm not sure I've organized it the best, but it's a start, and that's what wikis are for, right? Maybe we can get Ken to weigh in on it.Jow wrote:I really enjoy this series as well. I keep meaning to do an index of sorts so i can find certain episodes i want to refer to. One day when I get time.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Another great clip. I'm looking forward to studying at Fujikawa for a few weeks in July. Should be great.
