OK,

Looks like you can "Knob Cut" the apex portion that was cut and has now dried out. Knob/concave cut down to clean live wood and FULL CIRCLE OF CAMBIUM; then stop and seal well with Kyonal and then Putty if you have it.

Unwire and then re wire all branches including new growth; then bend all branches down in a regular, artistic and sympathetic way.

Start to build up ramification without reducing any branching at this stage.

Don't sweat to much on minute positioning of branches at this stage as you are still building up bulk/ramification to play with later on.

Lower branches are good to build up a thicker trunk and may be removed later if necessary.
