Hi all,
I have a pot that has had a few trees in it over the years but none have ever quite looked the part. I am still learning a lot about balance between plant and pot but I cant think what plant may ever match this tree so would love some ideas. In the past I have had a liquid amber and a corky bark elm. I think the problem is that it has qualities from both rectangle and oval pots but isn't distinctly one or the other.
Would love some thoughts and discussion please

In my mind, terracotta coloured pots are usually reserved for junipers.
This shape may suit a raft or multi-trunk juni?

Fair enough Squizz, granted Kusamono can be stand alone compositions not accents. But Im all for rafts as well.squizzy wrote:yeah mate I cant think of a tree that suits it yet.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
