Cheers. I must correct one of my orchid ID's - I wrote Dendrobium linguiforme when the second species figured is in fact Dendrobium lichenastrum.

Here is Methuselah just sprouting back into leaf after defoliation and pruning some four weeks ago. I planted it into a new Japanese pot this time last year which is in my opinion a closer match for size and shape. cheers, Ash

Ah if only the leaves would stay that small!
The new pot looks a better fit --- gives the tree a bit more room to spread its roots its gunna love that.
