Darwinia?

Hi picked this guy up for 5 dollars today. It says Darwinia something but can't read the second word.

It's on its last legs. Very root bound and minimal foliage right at the tips.

What is the best way to go about saving this?

Should I repot right now?

Should I comb the roots out without removing very much?

All help welcome and if anyone knows the exact species that would be great....

So sounds like they are new ground.

I know it was only 5 dollars but I don't want to kill it by taking too many roots...

why not just slip pot it into something a little bigger to let it grow , so that it can gain some vigour and then work it next year. Just a thought

Yeah good call. Ive never delt with a plant in this poor health before. This sounds like the smartest thing to do.....
